02 Experimental Background

The sample shown is endothelial cells ( Endothelial Cells ) are single-layer flat epithelial cells that constitute the inner wall of blood vessels, covering the entire body's blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, and the inner surface of the heart, forming the vascular endothelial system. As an important barrier between blood vessels and blood, endothelial cells have various physiological functions:

1) Barrier and Material Exchange

Selective permeability, regulating the transport of substances between blood and tissues;

2) Vascular Tone Regulation

Secretes nitric oxide ( 'NO' ), prostacyclin, and other active substances to regulate vascular tone;

3) Antithrombotic and Procoagulant Balance

Maintains blood homeostasis by expressing thrombomodulin and releasing tissue plasminogen activator ( t-PA ) etc;

4) Immune and Inflammatory Regulation

Participates in leukocyte adhesion, migration, and inflammatory response;

5) Angiogenesis ( Angiogenesis

Secretes nitric oxide ( 'NO' ), prostacyclin, and other active substances to regulate vascular tone; mediates new blood vessel formation in tissue repair, tumor growth, etc.

Endothelial dysfunction is closely related to various diseases such as hypertension, atherosclerosis, and diabetic complications, and is a key target for cardiovascular research.

03 Customer Pain Points

When using a hemocytometer for manual counting, the process is not only time-consuming but also prone to large counting errors.

High-efficiency and Accurate Cell Analysis Solution

Recently, the Southwest Medical University Science and Technology Building welcomed a " new member "—— Newton Optics Tuger Fully Automated Fluorescence Cell Analyzer Newton Optics, as a " High-efficiency and Accurate Cell Analysis Solution mainstream brand, assists in cell culture analysis.

Tuger When analyzing multiple types of cells with a fully automated fluorescence cell analyzer, it can identify and distinguish individual cells and cell clusters through high-precision imaging counting and excellent algorithms. Compared with the hemocytometer, which requires 4 to 6 minutes to complete the analysis of a single sample, Tuger it only takes less than 8 seconds to easily complete the analysis of 1 samples, significantly improving experimental efficiency
