Human acute myeloid leukemia cell line, isolated from the peripheral blood of human acute myeloid leukemia patients, contains immuneB cells and immuneT cells, mainly used for in vitro culture and research of acute myeloid leukemia cells.
Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Acute myeloid leukemia,AML) is a malignant disease of myeloid hematopoietic stem/ progenitor cells, the main characteristic of which is the abnormal proliferation of primitive and immature myeloid cells in the bone marrow and peripheral blood. Clinically, patients usually show symptoms such as anemia, bleeding, infection and fever, organ infiltration, metabolic abnormalities, etc. Most cases are acute and severe, with a poor prognosis. If not treated promptly, it can often endanger life.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a highly heterogeneous clonal disease caused by acquired myeloid progenitor cell mutations. Many factors affect efficacy, including white blood cell count at onset, patient age, cytology type, immunology type, and most importantly, cytogenetics at onset (chromosome abnormalities) and molecular biology type (gene mutations and other alterations). Currently, treatment based on cytogenetic and molecular biology risk stratification is the most scientific method to cure acute myeloid leukemia. In other words, only by adopting appropriate treatment methods according to different cytogenetic and molecular biology types, it is possible to cure acute myeloid leukemia.
